George Fareed is a physician, a husband, and a father.

He has developed a sports drink and worked as the US Davis Cup Team Physician for 12 years. His last match with the team was a victory in Bratislava, Slovakia in Spetember 2003.

He continues to be the Countrywide Classic Los Angeles tournament physician, a tradition began with his father, Omar Fareed, M.D., over thirty years ago. George also works with high school athletes in the Imperial Valley, CA.

Doctor Fareed's medical practice is broad based for general medicine with an emphasis on sports and family practice as well as HIV care. His HIV clinics are located at the Clinicas de Salud del Pueblo, Brawley and Calexico, CA.

This website houses notes and articles generally relating to medicine, sports, travels and my family. It replaces a previous website (formerly gfareed.com).

If you are going to be coming into one of my offices as a new patient, feel free to save some time by downloading our patient information form (in English / in Spanish) and our patient questionnaire (in English / in Spanish). Print those forms out, fill them in and bring them with you to our office. Viewing these documents requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.
